Before Appointment

Pre-Makeup Skin Preparation Guidelines

For the best makeup application and long-lasting results, it is essential to start with skin in its purest state. To ensure I can accurately assess your skin type and recommend the most effective products, please follow these guidelines before your makeup appointment:

What to Do:

✔ Cleanse – Use a gentle facial cleanser to remove dirt, oil, and impurities.

✔ Deep Exfoliate – Lightly exfoliate to remove dead skin cells, allowing for a smooth and even makeup application.

What NOT to Do:

✖ Do Not Apply Moisturizers, Serums, or Primers After Cleansing – Avoid using any skincare products after cleansing and exfoliating.

Why It Matters:

• Allows Your Skin to Settle Naturally – Your skin needs time to return to its true, natural state after cleansing. Applying products immediately after can alter its texture, hydration level, and overall condition.

• Ensures an Accurate Skin Assessment – I need to see your skin in its most authentic form to determine the best skin prep routine, primer, and foundation type for your unique needs.

• Enhances Makeup Performance – Properly prepped skin ensures a flawless finish, longer wear, and better adherence of products, whether using silicone-based or water-based formulas.
